Ferrari World Abu Dhabi — full-day on Yas Island

Ferrari World Abu Dhabi opened in 2010 on Yas Island and is housed under the largest single-attraction roof in the world — recognisable from the air by the Ferrari logo painted on it. The park is fully air-conditioned, which makes it one of the best summer family options in the UAE.

The headline rides

• Formula Rossa — 0 to 240 km/h in 4.9 seconds, the world's fastest roller-coaster. Goggles are mandatory.

• Flying Aces — 63-metre tall, 1.6 km of track, with the steepest cable-lift roller-coaster hill in the world.

• Mission Ferrari — the newest hybrid coaster (opened 2022) with a vertical drop and projection-mapped indoor sections.

• Turbo Track — a vertical accelerator that fires you out of the roof of the building.

For families with younger children

The Junior GT zone has gentler rides for ages 4-10 — a junior racetrack, a slow car-themed coaster and interactive workshops where kids assemble Lego Ferrari kits. The 4D cinema and the factory tour are good rainy-afternoon options for all ages.

Yas Island three-park ticket

If you have two days, the combined Ferrari World + Warner Bros World + Yas Waterworld ticket is significantly better value than three separate single-day passes. All three parks are within a 15-minute drive of each other on Yas Island; you can also walk between Ferrari World and Warner Bros via the Yas Mall.

Getting there

By car, 1 hour 15 from Dubai via E11; free on-site parking. By bus, take the inter-emirate bus to Abu Dhabi central, then the free Yas Express shuttle (runs between the main hotels and the parks). Closest hotels are the W Yas Island and Yas Hotel — both walkable to the park.
