JOB PURPOSE
The SAP Integration Developer / SAP CPI-APIM Consultant is responsible for the design, development, implementation, and support of enterprise integrations across EGA’s digital ecosystem using SAP Integration Suite (SAP CPI) and related middleware technologies. The role ensures reliable, secure, and scalable integration between SAP and non-SAP systems, government platforms, cloud applications, and third-party services.
The position plays a critical role in enabling digital transformation initiatives by developing reusable integration services, APIs, workflows, and data exchange mechanisms aligned with EGA’s enterprise architecture and governance standards. The SAP Integration Developer works closely with business analysts, project managers, infrastructure teams, external vendors, and government entities to deliver integration solutions that support operational efficiency, automation, and service excellence
The role requires strong technical expertise in SAP integration technologies, understanding of enterprise integration patterns, API management, security protocols, and experience working in complex enterprise or government digital environment
Educational and Professional Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is required.
• SAP certifications in SAP CPI / SAP Integration Suite are preferred.
• Additional certifications in API Management, Cloud Integration, or Middleware technologies are an advantage.
Experience
• 8 to 12 years of hands-on experience in SAP integration, middleware development, or enterprise application integration.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with SAP CPI / SAP Integration Suite and API Management is required.
• Proven experience integrating SAP and non-SAP systems in enterprise or government environments.
• Experience with REST, SOAP, OData, IDoc, RFC, SFTP, APIs, and integration security mechanisms.
• Experience in troubleshooting production integration issues and supporting critical enterprise interfaces.
• Familiarity with SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP SuccessFactors, Ariba, or other SAP cloud solutions is preferred.
• Experience working in digital transformation or public sector projects is an advantage.
